My Treatment Philosophy
I am continually asked about my approach to patients and to health care in general. As such, I composed a series of thoughts and ideas about my approach to wellness, based on more than 2 decades of experience and the honor of treating thousands of patients from all walks of life.
Basic Principle
My major principle when working with a patient or client is that I am treating a Person, not a disease. Too many times I have heard doctors or health providers refer to the “gall bladder patient” or the “heart blockage in room 2.”
You as a unique individual matter and from the first time we connect, you are always treated like a person. Granted you may have special physical or emotional challenges such as pain, weight issues, depression etc., but this is not the real you. These are the symptoms that an imbalanced chemistry is producing; that is, these are the red flags your body is producing, letting you know that adjustments are needed now. I am here to help you with those adjustments.

In my practice, I applied acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition, hair analysis, blood test (results) analysis, applied kinesiology, auriculomedicine, neuro-emotional technique, total body modification, Bach remedies, neurolinguistic programming and plain old kindness to my patients.
In my personal life, I own and teach at one of the most popular martial arts schools in Orlando. In addition, I run marathons, ultra-marathons, fencing, study Japanese and Russian language, practice Shodo (calligraphy) and train in other martial arts such as Arnis. I have authored two books and own and write for a popular blog.

Unique Education
In addition to my 10 years of formal college education, I had the great fortune to study with the best. When I would learn about or read about a particular therapy, I would find a way to study with the premiere practitioner or with the individual who created the method or wrote the book.
In other words, I would go to the source and study with the experts. Yes, it was very expensive, demanding and time consuming but the mountains of information – much of which was never printed anywhere – was well worth the sacrifice.

I have taught classes at colleges and universities. I have done countless lectures, including lecturing to Congress.
